Many songs on Home were recorded in January 2022. However, with taking a break from recording for nearly two years, Home never got to a stage where it could be released.

In January 2024, Ben recorded the missing parts and three more songs that were written during those two years, Same Old Lies being the most recent song.

Home is the most "back to the roots" album Ben has ever released! Many songs contain nothing more than an acoustic guitar and his voice, with an occasional second guitar in the background or playing lead parts!
