15 years in the making... that is Soul Cancer !
The oldest recorded tracks go back as far as 2002, when Ben recorded Just Like The Sun.
Stranger, Never and Old Friend originally appeared on that album. Ben took a few of the original recorded parts and redid everything else... kind of a 15th anniversary celebration !
More songs were recorded over the years, but never got finished in time to make it on one of the other albums...
The newest song on Soul Cancer is My Last Song, written in 2016.
Although there`s more than a decade between the oldest and the newest recordings, and the thrown together songs were never intended to be an album, Soul Cancer makes sense... in a lyrical and musical way !
